PARNASSIAN (NAP) has to give plenty of weight away all round but impressed with the style of his recent win when sent south and Clifford Lee's claim will assist his chance greatly. He does look on the upgrade and is taken to prove too strong for Alfie's Angel who landed a first success when scraping home at Pontefract last time. He could well improve again after six starts but the form lacks the strength of that achieved by the selection. Rutherford is expected to go well too and further danger in an open contest could come from the lightly-raced pair tackling handicaps for the first time - Raselasad and Bob Maxwell, who are preferred in that order.
