    Verdict

WOR LASS rattled up a six-timer last season before the handicapper took charge but she's back and firing on all cylinders with a couple of facile, runaway successes. As a result she finds herself carrying a weight more suited to a handicap chase but such is her current wellbeing that she's hard to oppose. Susan Corbett's charge gets on famously with Anna Hesketh, whose 5lb claim will be very welcome to the in-form mare. All five opponents can be given a decent claim, with Bell Weir suggested as the prime danger on the back of two useful efforts, most recently when a fair third here last time. Another Lincolnday may find this trip a little sharp and is likely to set out to make all and maximise his stamina, whilst Jan Smuts and Love Marmalade have found winning tough of late. Wynford remains unexposed and lightly-raced and is an interesting Balding raider as all he can do is improve and does receive plenty of weight all round.
