Barista is the recent winner on show but that was only in Chepstow selling company and he'll need to improve again although clearly in good heart. CAPTAIN KOLO displayed a better level last time after a series of disappointments, chasing home Bravo King on heavy ground at Thirsk. Unproven at this trip, he's down to a career-low mark and is worth risking with ground in his favour. Edgeware Road is unexposed but ran poorly last time and the ground is a major question mark, so Chokidar looks a likelier sort in first-time blinkers despite topweight. Michael O'Connell claims a useful 3lb and the Sleeping Indian gelding put up arguably his best effort to date last September when a close second to Gentle Lord under similar conditions.
