In depth

Verdict

EASY OVER takes the eye off a mark of 77. The Dr Fong gelding has only had four runs, progressing nicely with each outing before landing a decisive Doncaster maiden success. Understandably, he found life tougher upped to handicap company in a competitive Newmarket contest but picked up well late on and could be open to considerable progress off his current mark. Honeymead is interesting on the comeback trail after tailing off at Ayr last time but she's had a good break since and has every chance on the best of her previous form. Ingleby Exceed's consistency should serve her well again, whilst Try The Chance will need to improve again to defy topweight and a 6lb penalty for a recent C&D success over the reopposing My Single Malt.
