Multahab overcame trouble in running to score here last time and can follow up at the expense of a whole host of rivals including Eden Star, Warlingham, Stagnite and Cayman Breeze. There are plenty in with chances in the finale, even Firework, although he has a poor draw in stall 13. On the evidence of his latest effort a fortnight ago, Multahab could prove the answer. Gay Kelleway's charge returned from a seven-month break after a wind operation to open his account at the 22nd time of asking here a fortnight ago, getting up inside the final furlong to beat Danakim, and this extra furlong will not be a problem. He will be even fitter now and can defy a small rise in the handicap to continue making up for lost time. Down at the bottom of the weights, Eden Star catches the eye as she has now run well twice, including when third over the course and distance in June. Warlingham goes particularly well here, having won three times in all, and should perform a lot better than when last of 17 at Nottingham. Stagnite is inconsistent but was also successful here in June, as was Cayman Breeze, although he would prefer another furlong. All in all, in a close one to call, we look to Multahab as the answer.
