Mission Affirmed, Imperium and Mulberry Lad are sure to have their supporters in this open contest and the vote is given to Imperium. The selection is closely-matched with Mulberry Lad on their running on this track last month. But Mulberry Lad has a poor draw today which will make life tough for him and Imperium really caught the eye with the way that he travelled for much of that Brighton race. He eventually finished a close fourth behind Boanerges and we think he can get his head in front today on a track that clearly suits. Mission Affirmed was a good second behind Million Percent at Wolverhampton last time but this is not really his trip and for that reason we will take him on. The booking of Richard Quinn for Border Artist catches the eye and he is another to consider. But for the winner we will stick with Imperium.
