Verdict

Richard Hannon has made a bright start to the campaign with a number of first-time out juvenile winners but Micky Thin was in need of the experience when making his debut at Folkestone last week. The son of Prince Sabo attempted to make all in what appeared an above average maiden for the track but faded in the closing stages to finish last of the four runners. He is sure to have benefitted from the outing and can be expected to take plenty of pegging back at this level. Knight On the Tiles is tried in blinkers after a disappointing debut effort earlier in the month while Baytown Shamrock is the most exposed runner in the line up and looks nothing out of the ordinary. Mick Channon's juveniles newcomers are rarely fully wound up first time but Cheverak Forest makes plenty of appeal on breeding being from the same family as the prolific winning sprint mare Hever Golf Rose and should be noted in the exchanges for further clues.
