      Verdict

      Collette was a huge disappointment at Chelmsford after a fair third at Yarmouth. She could easily bounce back, however, reverting to the Turf, though a couple of newcomers catch the eye on breeding. Mark Johnston’s juveniles are always worth a second look here and the trip won’t be a problem for the stoutly-bred Dontaskmeagain but a similar comment applies to PARTY POPPER. He’s a half-brother to two winners and could offer a bit more value. Rondo and Draw Lots will need to step up on debut efforts.
