JUNGLE COVE hadn't been beaten far in two Curragh maidens before finishing a fair sixth in the Group 2 Futurity over 7f there. He's well exposed but this is a big drop in class and he can get off the mark. Sailing South didn't show much improvement for her debut when mid-division at Naas BUT Laurel Grove ran her best race on very fast going at Fairyhouse. The superbly-bred War Leader, who is closely related to two Group 1 winners, ran in two decent maidens earlier in the summer and has been given time to mature so looks the likely main threat.
