Verdict

BILLY BEETROOT gets the vote in the finale over Louie's Lad and Imaginary Diva. The selection is ultra-consistent and he certainly deserves to get his head in front as he has gone close on each of his last seven starts. The booking of Ryan Moore in the saddle is a big plus as he does ride this track very well and our selection is taken to gain an overdue success. Louie's Lad ran his best race for a while at Goodwood last time but that was a weak handicap and he's now had 12 chances to get his head in front without being able to take one. Imaginary Diva boasts some decent all-weather form but she has yet to win on the turf, although she has gone close on her last couple of starts. Zelos Girl could prove best of the others, but we will stick with Billy Beetroot as our idea of the winner.
