Verdict

CURTAINS can draw clear of her rivals to win this, although Pullyourfingerout and Ailsa Carmel are respected as dangers. The selection is a filly who has already shown she has plenty of ability and she was only narrowly beaten behind Hairspray at Lingfield last time. She had previously run well at this track so we know she will handle it, and with ground conditions also to suit she looks the one to beat. Pullyourfingerout has progressed with each run so far and he also improved for the step-up to this trip when he chased home Reach For The Sky at Goodwood last time. If he can progress from that then he would be capable of giving our selection a race. Ailsa Carmel showed up well on her debut but she then disappointed last time out and it is hard to recommend her off the back of that disappointment, although this extra furlong could help her. Ginger Grey hung under pressure here last time and he will need to take a big step in the right direction if he is to get his head in front today. Curtains sets the standard for the others and she is given the vote.
