Rapid Release will be popular after closing in on success in three runs so far, but we prefer the claims of Wilbury Star here. The Richard Hannon-trained selection was very coltish in the preliminaries before his debut run at Folkestone last week and that made his performance, just held in third in a three-way photo, all the more eyecatching. With the experience under his belt and plenty of promise he can deliver for us this time. Rapid Release steps up in trip having contested three races all at six furlongs. There was improvement from run one to two, but not much evidence of anything better from him when runner up at Lingfield last time. The extra furlong may help here and he is not dismissed lightly but we'll take him on. Percys Corismatic showed improvement for this trip last time but that was in a seller and he may have to settle for a minor role again, while the other pair need to show marked improvement to get involved and we'll take Wilbury Star to shine.
