In depth

Verdict

Tintawn Gold is the pick in this very weak affair, Desert Fury and Gran Dana may provide most danger. The selection found the trip last time just testing his stamina, but he still did well to finish fourth behind Dovedale in a much stronger event than this. Back over a more realistic trip he looks the one to be on. Robin Bastiman makes the long journey from his base with Desert Fury and he does have strong claims here following a recent victory at Wolverhampton. Gran Dana is versatile as regards ground and trip and put in a solid effort last time when fifth in a Yarmouth handicap. Of the others Got To Be Cash has shown enough in the past to suggest he could be involved, however Tintawn Gold appears to have the best overall form and gets the nod.
