A competitive contest in which a tentative vote goes to Burlington Place who is preferred to Mister Clinton and Prime Offer. The selection showed improved form when chasing home She's Our Lass in a handicap at Leicester last week and a reproduction of that effort may suffice in this lesser event. Jonathan Jay's Prime Offer is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but may once again have to settle for a minor role. A bigger threat may come from Mister Clinton. Dean Ivory's gelding was a winner over course and distance a month ago and has run two good races in defeat since. He is entitled to plenty of respect. Our Destiny has struggled since winning a handicap at Lingfield over 10 furlongs in June and may ideally want further and of more interest may be Londoner, who goes well here. Liberty Royal and Poppyline are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Burlington Place, who looks the percentage call in a tough looking contest.
