        Verdict

        Aspectus has claims on his earlier third at Newmarket though he hasn't won since 2009, while Patavium Prince looks high enough in the weights. High On The Hog won easily over C&D a week ago, but there's a suspicion it may have been down to the soft ground and HIGHLAND HARVEST is preferred. He's been in fine fettle over shorter trips recently but is perfectly at home over today's distance and can race off a 7lb lower mark back on the turf after going close on the Polytrack last week. Main Beach could prove best of the rest on his handicap debut.
