Verdict

A tight-looking opener. Anoosou, who ran very well behind Life Of Reilly at Tipperary before a poor effort at Limerick, has a penalty to carry and appears unlikely to concede almost a stone to Sister Steve, though the latter may do better over further. Imperial Joey has found 2m4f too far on his last two starts and this looks his trip, a remark that also applies to Minella King, though he could probably do with some rain. Tirmoyle ran well in a Killarney bumper last week but the vote goes to FAIRWOOD MASSINI, who hasn't exactly been consistent but whose best form, including when runner-up at Down Royal a week ago, should be good enough.
