The day's feature race at Beverley can go to Hoh Hoh Hoh at the expense of Bond City, The Trader and Tabaret to name but three. Some familiar names line up here, including last year's winner Philarmonic, but despite his stable's good run of form over the weekend, others are preferred, notably Hoh Hoh Hoh. The Richard Price-trained inmate has run well in defeat in top sprints on a number of occasions this term, with seconds at the likes of Ascot and York to his name. He made no show on the far side in the Portland at Doncaster last time, but deserves to get his head in front, and can do so here, reversing that latest form with Tabaret in the process. The latter has not won since his juvenile days, but seems to be slowly recapturing his form, and is one to keep on the right side of in the final few weeks of the Flat season. Bond City bombed out badly in the Stewards' Cup, but other than that has applied himself well, while The Trader is still mixing it with faster, younger animals at the age of nine. Jack Rackham is talented, but appears to have it to do against mainly older opponents, and we are going to follow Hoh Hoh Hoh in the hope that he will gain the victory that his efforts deserve.
