      Verdict

In Uniform can make experience count over Prime Performer, with Baldemar and Tittle having it to do. Although Prime Performer did nothing wrong on her debut over the course-and-distance back in May, indeed four of those behind have won since, Bryan Smart's filly will do well to return from a 122-day break, and preference is for In Uniform. Ed McMahon's colt had an unsettling experience when thrust into Group 3 company in France the time before last, rearing up in the stalls and having to be re-saddled before, in the circumstances, giving a fair account. He failed to settle in a conditions event at Newmarket on his last start two-months ago, but hopefully will have calmed down enough to make his class tell today. Baldemar beat a subsequent winner at Ripon before tackling useful opponents in a big sales race at Newmarket. He made no show there, but the soft ground would not have helped, and Karl Burke will be looking for a much better run from him. Tittle is a speedy sort on breeding, her dam being a half-sister to the stable's flying machine Kyllachy, and she would not have to be spot on to take a hand either. However, we shall rely on the more experienced In Uniform.
