      Verdict

      Richard Fahey won this last year and the lightly-raced Normandy Knight should have some improvement in him. SOVEREIGN BOUNTY (NAP) improved with each run last season and made a very satisfactory comeback over this course and distance last month when a close third to Go Dan Go, who has won again since and is now rated 84. Jedd O'Keefe's charge is very well treated on that form and looks worth waiting for. Mrs Biggs looks the main threat as she led almost everywhere but the line over a mile at Thirsk and bounces off the fast ground. Anneani showed nothing in her first campaign so it was no surprise that she started 33/1 on her comeback at Catterick but she won in style and is still on a very lowly mark.
