Verdict

Miss Katie Mae took an age to get the hang of things at Naas but stayed on nicely once the penny dropped and will have come on a bundle. Dancing On Air could only manage eighth that day but showed good pace and is another who will make progress, though her stable also run newcomers Ballydoyle and DEWDROP. Both are by Galileo and the former is a half-sister to Misty For Me but it's the latter who gets the nod as she's a 400,000gns half-sister to the Group 2 winner Ladys First. Rich Jade was very green at Navan last month but that will have done her the world of good and she will know much more here. Jim Bolger has a good record in the race and the Dubawi filly Mrs King is related to six winners, though most over much further than this.
