Jim Bolger holds a strong hand here with ROUND TWO and Taisce Naisiunta. The former did everything right when beating a previous winner over 6f at Naas and though he drops down in trip he showed plenty of speed and won't be inconvenienced. The latter made a nice start on soft ground at Tipperary and her allowance should enable her to also get into contention. State Of Emergency has won twice over the course and distance - both on very heavy ground - and there's no reason why slightly quicker going won't bring about further improvement, which he will need against these better rivals. Washington DC started out with a narrow defeat at Dundalk last month but showed the benefit with a very easy victory at Tipperary a few days later. He'll improve again and could provide the main threat.
