In depth

Verdict

Campari has run in better company than this since landing a Chepstow maiden and is just 1lb higher than when beaten a nose in a Class 3 Sandown handicap. Fred, a son of Frankel, completed a double on good to soft ground last summer and looked on the way back to form at Musselburgh. Tukhoom created a surprise when scoring over 6f at York, his sixth victory, and has won over the track and trip, while Harbour Vision arrives in fine form though his recent victories have been in lower grade. Kentuckyconnection went up 2lb for landing a course and distance handicap and didn't get the best of runs on a return visit over an extra furlong though this can go to IDOAPOLOGISE. James Bethell's charge completed a double at this time a year ago and was having just his second subsequent start when runner-up to La Trinidad over slightly further here. The winner, who was receiving 9lb, is now rated 87 so the selection looks very well handicapped.
