Verdict
Kevin Stott rides this track really well and completed a hat-trick last week. Beechwood Donna made a successful debut over the track and trip and also ran well on a return visit last month. She ran in a better race at Musselburgh last time but hung badly throughout. Charlie Fellowes led at this trip before succumbing close home over 6f on soft ground at Ripon and could be capable of hanging on this time. However, PIVOTING is a speedily-bred colt who almost justified good support over the course and distance last week, just being caught in the closing stages, so gets the nod. The filly Atiyah was beaten a short-head at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago and normal progress should see her in the firing-line.
