A low-grade handicap in which stakes should probably be kept to a minimum. Lendal Bridge must have some sort of chance, despite returning from a break. He wasn't disgraced in a couple of runs over this trip after winning at Musselburgh in May. Call Me Crockett is still a maiden but has been knocking on the door, though appears to have the worst of the draw. Barwah has won off a higher mark on Polytrack while Dont Tell Chris has shown some improvement of late. CABAL is possibly better on the all-weather but wasn't beaten far in a seller at Thirsk last month and this isn't much better. Franny Norton takes over the reins from an apprentice so Geoff Harker's charge gets the most tentative of votes.
