Neither Kitten's Red nor Montefalcon arrive in form so are passed over but Red Charmer made Dark Ocean work hard for victory at Pontefract last week and can race off the same mark. Dual Mac is another who has been knocking on the door lately, though he's been raised another 2lb since his latest second at Carlisle. BARREN BROOK has been racing over further but dropping back in distance on this stiff track won't be a problem and Mick Easterby's versatile gelding is back on a winning mark.
