        Verdict

        Itqaan can give weight away all round here, with Authenticate, Jack The Giant and Simply St Lucia the other main players in the finale. All of these are exposed apart from the selection who knuckled down to her task well on her Pontefract debut, getting the better of Dakota Rain by a neck. The latter showed the merit of that form when going one better at Nottingham at the weekend, and despite having to carry topweight today, Itqaan should prove up to the task. Authenticate gained an easy victory at Catterick a fortnight ago and can also run well, while Jack The Giant battled his heart out to score at Epsom last time and will have his supporters. He does not have as much scope as Itqaan though and nor does Simply St Lucia based on her Newcastle victory over her own sex last time. Itqaan may be a step ahead of the handicapper and can make the point here
