dwelt, soon chased along, never a factor
mid-division, ridden halfway, never nearer
dwelt, soon prominent, ridden and every chance final furlong, soon weakened
led, pushed along halfway, ridden and headed over 1f out, soon weakened
tracked leaders, pushed along halfway, ridden to lead over 1f out, kept on
soon chased along, ridden 2f out, stayed on final furlong
edged left start, soon chased along, stayed on final 2f, nearest finish
tracked leader, effort over 2f out, ridden and one pace final furlong
As with the first division of the maiden auction race only three runners in the field have racing experience so the market may prove the best guide. Of those with a run under their belts Bill Turner's Lady At Leisure showed signs of ability on her debut at Warwick and probably has more solid claims than either Bijou Rock or Mambee, although a stall three berth does not help. Best berthed of all appears to be Tim Easterby's Danehill Miss in stall 10. A Danehill Dancer half-brother to Flowington, she should go well.
