Three-year-old handicaps, particularly at this time of the year, can be difficult races to solve and this is no exception with a case to be made for many of the 16-runner field. With those drawn high at an advantage it may pay to follow those closest to the rail. Of those, the likes of the reappearing Woody Bathwick, Olivia Rose from the in-form yard of Mark Johnston, all-weather winner Gruff and another fit from running on the sand Natmsky all warrant respect. The most eye-catching of all the runners though is probably the James Hetherton-trained Indelible who, although yet to win a race, has run well in defeat recently including when upped to this trip for the first time at Southwell last week. Equally effective on turf and with Ollie Pears taking over in the saddle the filly has solid claims from stall 11.
