Not much for backers to go on in this five furlong maiden with only three of the runners having raced previously. Best of the trio looks like Inch Island who was a respectable third on soft ground at Newcastle on his debut, despite showing signs of temperament. Nerys Dutfield does well with her two-year-old runners so don't be surprised to see a big run from Passionate, although a draw in stall two is hardly helpful, while a few tears could be shed if the Paul Gascoigne-owned Assuage manages to win first time out. Most appealing of the newcomers though is Tim Easterby's Change Of Heart. The stable's youngsters have started the season in decent form and this speedily-bred two-year-old looks well drawn in stall nine.
