Salsa Star looks the one to beat here and gets the vote ahead of Wotatomboy and Cash In The Attic. Richard Fahey's filly was good enough to run in Royal Ascot's Group 3 Albany Stakes, where she put up a good performance in defeat, and there is nothing of that calibre in opposition here. A reproduction of that run, or her latest maiden outing at Ripon, would probably be good enough here. Supporters of Wotatomboy will have to put a line through her last outing at Thirsk, and concentrate on a good run when runner-up to Sloop Johnb at Carlisle prior to that, and she is not without a chance. Cash In The Attic handles cut should the rains change the going, and has put in a couple of reasonable efforts in context at both Brighton and Newcastle. Her dam was a winner over this trip as a juvenile so she looks likely to go well. Florentia is respected after a pleasing Sandown debut last week and she is more likely to have the scope to improve than Impressible, who has had a few chances thus far. Plenty for us to learn here then and for today Salsa Star looks the one.
