Plenty of runners here but a poor contest and one that can be dominated by SOLEMN and Only A Game and the former can again beat his opponent. He did so when the pair met here a couple of weeks ago, and is now 5lbs worse off at the weights for a distance of over two lengths. If that is taken literally then there should be almost nothing between them today. However, mainly because he is recently more accustomed to pulling out enough to win we will side with Milton Bradley's charge to complete the hat-trick. Only A Game also won over course and distance, beating Soto a neck last month, and so he acts well here and is not much worse off at the draw, so is much respected. Select Committee is weighted to finish just about level with the selection on their running here earlier in the month, though we will take him on if the ground remains good or faster, as he is better on a softer surface. Foreign Rhythm has a plumb draw and had excuses when behind Solemn here last time out, so may be capable of better this time, while Stathmore has been given a chance by the handicapper, but will have to show more than he has for some time to win. Solemn can bring joy for his supporters.
