Dilwin gets a tentative vote over Oceana Gold, with Packers Hill, Interest and Chasing Memories others worth a mention at least. Dilwin did best of the newcomers when a close third to Coconut Queen on his Catterick bow, and with minimal improvement should pay to follow. A high draw is normally beneficial at Beverley and so stall eight is an added bonus for Dandy Nicholls' charge. Oceana Gold finished really well when fifth on her Salisbury introduction, and with an furlong extra to travel, can be in the shake-up although Darryll Holland will have to work hard from stall three. Packers Hill has not had much luck so far, having been brought down at Pontefract before being undone by soft ground on his last visit here. Interest needs to show a lot more than he has but the stable has been in fine form, and Chasing Memories shaped well enough on her Redcar debut. Some nice sorts line up here, with Dilwin the pick.
