In depth

Verdict

Quite a competitive Class 6 handicap but JOHNNY BOOM has looked as if he could handle a rise in grade in view of the way he's dominated his fields the last twice, once over course and distance. He's up a stone for the two victories but is hard to oppose, although this is the first time he's faced some cut in the ground. Love Of Zoffany is another yet to prove himself fully on the ground but he too is running well at present and it's hard to see him not being involved. Can Can Girl is a course and distance winner this season but seemed to find things tougher last time off her elevated mark. Berry Edge is a possible improver despite topweight.
