Debden Bank returned from a break to score with something in hand for the in-form Keighley team at Worcester when seeming to relish the step-up in trip. However, he's been hit with a hefty rise of 16lb for his last two victories which makes future assignments harder. He still rates a prime contender but KRUJERS GIRL impressed with the manner of her Uttoxeter chase win in May, since when she's gone creditably in a couple of handicap hurdles. She gets on very well with Kevin Brogan and is just preferred. Auld Sod looked good at Ffos Las two starts back but disappointed last time and the best of The Dawn Man's form gives him a shout off the bottom rung.
