In depth

Verdict

Isthebaropen's last two runs have been improved efforts and Brian Hughes resumes his partnership with the gelding. He's a sound chance. MYSTIC COURT is enjoying a successful and consistent year and his last win came under Tom Scudamore, back on board now for the first time since. He's also expected to be suited by moving back up to this extended 2m4f. Edinburgh Castle should also benefit from an increase in trip after showing promise over 2m on all three starts and now makes his handicap bow. Druim Samhraidh is unexposed but has shown definite signs of ability and is the one to check in the market as stable runners can be strongly supported.
