Red Blossom is given the nod here ahead of Trivia and Jibajaba. Sir Mark Prescott was successful with a similar type recently that was very well supported, so the proviso here is that she attracts some money. She is superbly bred by Green Desert out of a mare that finished placed in the French 1000 Guineas. Prescott in fact trained the dam and so he would no doubt be delighted if she could win a few races. Trivia finished third to an Alan Swinbank newcomer at Newmarket last time and the form is working out well. Neville Callaghan's horses tend to improve with racing and she looks the obvious danger. Jibajaba showed plenty of promise on his debut at this track and is sure to come on for the run. Mark Johnston's Morbick looks the pick of the others, but we will take achance on the well bred newcomer Red Blossom.
