DANCE EAST is by far the most interesting contender and she can see off Hot Spark and Rule Breaker. Jeremy Noseda has won with three of the seven horses that he has sent up to the track in recent years and the fact that Frankie Dettori is booked for the ride speaks volumes. This daughter of Shamardal ran well on her comeback at Newmarket and a repeat of that run will see her win. Rule Breaker is a nicely-bred newcomer and this 110,000 guineas purchase is a half-brother to Cliche. He is likely to make up into a smart three-year-old but looks to have bumped into a good one here and will be need to be very smart to make a winning debut. Robbie Burnett needs to step up on a Redcar debut but this quicker ground may help there, Hot Spark is rated 71 but is exposed and hard to purr over, whilst Farmers Glory is related to several winners over this sort of trip so is not ignored. Ezra Church shaped with promise at Ripon, whilst Bahamian Jazz was 100/1 for his Pontefract debut but he ran on well to the line and should relish this longer trip. A good chance for Dance East to make it third time lucky.
