Verdict
A competitive handicap with many in with a chance including Jadan, Compton Plume, Artie and Brigadore with the tentative vote going to the last named. Brigadore has been in great form this season winning twice and getting placed many times. His most recent win at Pontefract showed what he is capable of, and if able to get a good early position he can go well. Jadan and Compton Plume are others coming here on the back of a wins. Both have risen in the weights for their successes and this looks a little tougher. Artie ran as if coming back to his best last time out and is definitely worth looking out for but for the winner we return to Brigadore.
