        Verdict

        For this track, this race seems to lack strength in depth, so watch the betting, but we will side with Mr Garston, with Balian, Legal, La Fanciulla and Xaloc Bay rated as the main dangers. Mr Garston certainly catches the eye on breeding and has to be respected from a good yard. Tuckers Point lost all chance at the start last time, but then stayed on once the penny dropped, so he could go well. Balian is well-related but will have to step up on his debut performance. Legal Call and La Fanciulla have both shown some promise, but will need to build a fair bit on it to score although, as we say, this does not seem to be a strong race. Finally, Xaluna Bay also attracts some interest on breeding but, for the selection, we will side with Mr Garston.
