Back on a winning mark, High Policy could provide some value here in an otherwise competitive race, while hat-trick seekers Isa'af and Spa Lane, along with the well-handicapped Woodyates, are others to consider. Reg Hollinshead's seven-year-old has run his best races on sand, but was a winner on turf last year at Nottingham and starts the season on a very fair mark on turf, some 21 pounds lower than his all-weather rating. He stays this trip well and will have no worries about the ground, so seems sure to go well for Graham Gibbons. Isa'af is a game, progressive gelding who has won his last two starts, including when stepped up to this trip for the first time at Folkestone, and he should be thereabouts despite a further rise in the weights. So should Spa Lane, who comes here in equally good heart and has won twice over course and distance. The booking of Jamie Spencer also catches the eye. One other to be wary of is Willie Musson's Woodyates, who is extremely well treated on her best form and hinted that she is coming to hand when third to Got One Too at Nottingham on her most recent start.
