Verdict
Sir Michael Stoute has a good record when raiding here and CABAL can provide him with further success at the main expense of I'm Super Too and Vito Volterra. Already a winner over this trip when she obliged at Doncaster on fast ground last time, the selection has gone up 5lbs for what was a handicap debut win. She managed to negotiate and come back from traffic problems that day and there looks sure to be further improvement in her. I'm Super Too landed a Hamilton maiden last week over slightly further than this and also on quick ground. He also has some good form on this track on his CV and should go close despite a 4lb rise. Vito Volterra has put in two decent efforts at Newcastle, in particular the latter, and Michael Smith's gelding is respected with just a 2lb rise for the run. The ground will suit him ideally. Mejd looks high enough in the weights now but Tribal Myth goes well here and support for Kevin Ryan's runner would be interesting, although we prefer the claims of Cabal.
