Verdict

At the weights NOODLES BLUE BOY has got a chance of reversing placings with Atlantic Beach on their recent running and is given the vote while Mullglen may be next best. Atlantic Beach beat our pick just over a length at Carlisle last month when in receipt of 15lbs, and the Ollie Pears-trained four-year-old is now 4lbs better off, which will hopefully be enough for him to gain reward for his consistency in these events. Mullglen goes on any ground and is on the same mark as when going close at Thirsk last time, so he should be ultra-competitive. Select Committee has dropped to 1lb above his highest winning mark and two of his four career successes have come over course and distance, so he should be involved, but Perlachy is better on the artificial surfaces than turf and we will side with Noodles Blue Boy.
