The return to this track and the drop in trip can see LADY ROYALE rewarded with a win, while Ahtoug and Good Morning Dubai are potential dangers. The last-named showed some improvement at Warwick last time when a running-on third, although she was a beaten favourite. Fast ground should not be a problem but she is clearly no good thing. Ahtoug is a rare Godolphin-owned juvenile running here, with one of the four they have sent in the last five years having won at the track. The drop in trip looks worth a try based on how he has raced in two starts to date and he is respected on ground that suits. Yachtmaster has got a nice pedigree, being related to juvenile sprint success and from a high draw both he and El Viento are potential eyecatchers on debut. Even so, Lady Royale showed decent form when runner-up in the Hilary Needler over course and distance earlier in the season and despite being beaten on both subsequent starts over further, the return to the Westwood can pay dividends.
