BRIDEY'S LETTUCE will be having his first start at this lowly level and wasn't beaten far in a Class 5 handicap at Ayr last time. A strike-rate of 0-24 is an obvious concern but he can get off the mark against a field of platers. Tred Softly was beaten a head over the track and trip before a poor run over timber but how he handles the going is anyone's guess. Cool Music, who was behind in that former contest, returned a few days later and won a minor handicap but she hasn't run well when tackling soft ground in the past. Petrify has also run poorly when tried in the conditions while Moon Over Rio was beaten in a Leicester seller in May, though at least we know he handles the ground. Heaven Sent has been running poorly over hurdles and though Taste The Wine won a Newton Abbot seller earlier this month this is likely to prove too short.
