Verdict
John Ryan has already produced a useful winning juvenile or two this term and MIDNIGHT WILDE can add to the list on the back of a strong effort when runner-up to Ulshaw Bridge at York. That represented a major improvement on a satisfactory Lingfield debut and the booking of De Sousa suggests connections mean business. Casey Banter was beaten in a seller first time up and Roman Spinner also needs to improve so the main dangers appear to be the more-exposed but consistent Lady Alavesa and newcomers Azezati and Harbour Vision, who are preferred in that order.
