In depth

Verdict

A small-but-select field with all bar Housesofparliament having won last time and his form on the Flat would give him an outstanding chance. Morgan battled on well at Wexford but would need a bit more against these but Boherbuoy made a very impressive debut at Sligo and looks a bright prospect. Deor, a consistent handicapper on the level, made a fine start over timber at Cork and will improve but, in receipt of all the allowances, Willie Mullins' four-year-old filly LAW GIRL, a smooth winner on ground with some give at Roscommon, looks the one to be on. Cinema De Quartier was put in his place by the exciting Lac Kivu at Punchestown but made no mistake at Kilbeggan and looks a real threat.
