Donna Blini has an obvious chance on the evidence of her debut win at Newmarket and the bonus of the plum draw in stall 14 but marginal preference is for Empress Jain, who gets the vote ahead of Give Me The Night. The last mentioned fulfilled debut promise when landing a Wolverhampton maiden last time and has the assistance of Frankie Dettori but has been done few favours with a draw in stall four. Tim Easterby's Lyndalee has found one too good in each of her two starts so far and is entitled to be thereabouts again, especially with the stable in better form right now. Stablemate Skyelady failed to progress from her debut win when upped in class at York last month and has the worst of the draw so is probably best discounted and of more interest may be Fangorn Forest, although this looks tougher than the course and distance maiden that she won last month. Miss Brush has only raced on the all-weather so far but there is no reason to suggest that James Fanshawe's filly should not be as effective on turf. However, Empress Jain created a favourable impression first time out, is well drawn in stall 12 and is taken to follow up for Michael Jarvis.
