Verdict

Jembatt, a winner at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago, looked to have a fair chance in the 6.50 here last night and it will be interesting to see if he runs again. Cheers Buddy won the race a year ago from 4lb higher and he's raced almost exclusively on the all-weather subsequently so don't be surprised by another good run. BUSY BUSH was receiving 3lb when beating Killarney winner Lightening Stricks a length at Listowel and there's little between them on the revised terms, though the former finished further in front when they were unplaced at Cork so is handed the vote. Our Man Phil is still a maiden and Takeachanceonme looks held by the selection.
