Verdict

Strait Of Zanzibar won this in 2014 and has remained in very good form so a 1lb higher mark won't cause any difficulties. He had a head to spare over Plough Boy at Listowel and there's nothing between the pair this time but he will find it tough against Ishebayorgrey, who beat him almost five lengths at Limerick though that was on very fast ground. The latter just failed to catch Tribal Path off levels over this trip at Dundalk so, with Donagh O'Connor's claim again coming into play, Damien English' charge looks to have the call. Poetic Choice was conceding Tribal Path 16lb when beaten around three lengths at Leopardstown, though that was on very testing ground and she had no answer to TOTAL DEMOLITION at Leopardstown last month. The latter is rapidly climbing the ratings and his recent victories have been gained in convincing fashion so he can complete a hat-trick.
