held up rear, steady headway 5f out, ridden 3f out and ran greenly, stayed on from 1f out to chase winner inside final furlong
tracked leader, ridden over 2 to chase winner, faded final furlong
made all, quickened up 3f out, shaken up 2f out, kept on well
always towards rear
very slowly into stride, always behind
mid-division, ridden approaching 3f out, weakened
tracked leaders, ridden 3f out to chase leaders, no impression
tracked leaders until ridden and weakened 3f out
ridden over 2f out, no impression
Crystal Theatre's short head second on her debut at Windsor was a fine effort and she can gain compensation for that effort. The form of the race may not have worked out brilliantly, but Henry Cecil's filly must go close with just normal improvement from that first run. John Gosden runs the debutant Arc and Barry Hills runs the turf debutant Silent Comfort, but Windsor third Ponderon could well be the one to give the selection the most to do.
